Korean Language Ministry
Sandia sponsors a Korean language ministry. Commissioned Lay Pastor Rebecca Kim initiated this growing ministry, which features Korean language worship services as well as cultural offerings and special events such as TaeKwonDo demonstrations, performances by touring Korean choirs, and periodic ESL (English as a Second Language), Korean language, and TaeKwonDo classes. Jinam Bang, Director of Korean Ministry, has taken over from Rebecca. Kim Montalvo is the ministry unit elder.
Korean translation is available at the 10:45 a.m. service on Sundays. A separate Korean service is offered each Sunday at 12:00 noon in Room 103. A Korean prayer and worship service is held each Saturday morning in the sanctuary, from 6:00 to 7:00 a.m.
TaeKwonDo classes have been offered for ages 4 through adult.

A Korean language class is offered periodically.
