C. S. Lewis on Stage: The Most Reluctant Convert

C. S. Lewis on Stage: The Most Reluctant Convert
Friday, January 31, 2020, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Using C. S. Lewis's own words, award-winning actor Max McLean brings the brilliant Oxford Don to life, taking us on his extraordinary journey from hard-boiled atheist to "the most reluctant convert in all England" . . . only to become the most influential Christian writer of the 20th century. The Most Reluctant Convert is entirely about Lewis's early life and his internal struggle with belief in God. McLean, who serves as both writer and sole performer, drew heavily from Lewis's autobiography, Surprised by Joy.

We will watch the video of this play and discuss it afterwards on Friday, January 31, from 7–9 PM in the Sunrise Chapel. Coffee, tea, and cookies will be available starting at 6:30 PM. No RSVP necessary. Contact Jeff Pearson for more information.
