Leader: I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me, hear  my words.

People: Wondrously show your steadfast love, O savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand.

     Leader: Let us worship God!

* Hymn  -  “I Will Sing of My Redeemer”

* Prayer of Confession (Unison)  -  Betsy Everett

We confess that we have not allowed your grace to set us free. We fear that we are not good enough. We hear your word of love freely given to us, yet we expect others to earn it. * Assurance of Pardon (Responsively) - Betsy Everett

Leader: God hears our cry and sends the Spirit to change us and empower our lives in the world. Our sins are forgiven, God’s love is unconditional, and we are raised up as God’s people, who will always be made new in the name of Jesus Christ.

People:  Thanks be  to God! Amen.

If you would like to contribute to a monetary fund to honor her and wish her well as she retires, there is a card and a collection envelope at the receptionist desk. Contributions may be made through Monday, July 26th, and will be presented to Nancy at the staff meeting on Tuesday, July 27th. (Please make any checks payable directly to Nancy – not SPC.)

Today, we are celebrating the return of our small, but mighty High School Missions Team! They took on a great challenge with two other groups during their trip to help renovate some areas of a small church called Tulsa Indian UMC. There are many stories to tell, so watch for our social media posts or go back and read their trip journal!

We are also celebrating a successful Tween weekend where 19 children and 7 adults went to Bonita Park Camp. They have put together this short video for you to see what they were up to all weekend.

His wounds for me shall plead

Chorus

I need no other argument
I need no other plea
It is enough that Jesus died
And that He died for me

Verse 2

Enough for me that Jesus saves
This ends my fear and doubt
A sinful soul I come to Him
He'll never cast me out

Verse 3

My heart is leaning on the Word
The living Word of God
Salvation by my Savior's name
Salvation thru His blood

Verse 4

My great Physician heals the sick
The lost He came to save
For me His precious blood He shed
For me His life He gave
