Messages
Each worship service, and all our Sunday School classes, offer Biblically-focused messages. We love to learn.
At Sandia Presbyterian, we constantly strive to create worship services to meet the evolving needs of our congregation. Our Sunday schedule includes three different services, each offing a unique experience for worshippers, plus distinct Sunday School and childcare options.
While the style of the service changes throughout the morning, the day's sermon remains the same. You can pick the time you want to attend based on your own schedule and taste, and you will hear the identical message, delivered by the same pastor.
Our Online Service is available to watch starting at 9 AM each Sunday. You can watch the service on our online church or YouTube channel.

Each worship service features a different musical style, including traditional hymns and a choir, contemporary music with a praise band, and a mix of music styles with small ensembles.
Age-based activities and free play for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, provided in a nurturing environment.
A time set aside during the service for children to come and sit in front of the congregation to hear a specially crafted lesson that echoes the morning’s sermon topic.
Age-appropriate discussion, scripture, and activities. Format and theme are different at each class time. Children can attend both hours if desired and not repeat content.
Age-appropriate Bible Study and discussion on a variety of topics, which may include characters in the Bible, current events, Christian character, and popular books.
No matter where you are in your life or your journey of faith, we have a Sunday morning class where you can grow in your relationship with God and connect with others.
Held in our new Sunrise Chapel, this service is designed for people who like getting an early start on Sundays. This service leans to a more traditional style with classic hymns — but with the occasional contemporary song. There is no organ or choir in the smaller Chapel, so music is performed by various soloists, ensembles, and musical groups.
Our biggest service, designed for people who prefer a more traditional feel. We sing the same hymns as the early worship, and the service includes the same sermon. Classic Worship takes place in the Sanctuary, which houses an organ to accompany our 40-member chancel choir. In addition to the choir anthem, this service also features special music from various soloists, ensembles and music groups.
This service includes a children’s message on most Sundays. After the children’s message, children will be escorted to Sunday School.
The contemporary service is held in the Sunrise Chapel. It is very relaxed and casual. Naturally, the music is very contemporary and led by a worship band. The same sermon will be given by the same pastor as the earlier services.
Like the Classic worship service, there is a children’s message. After the children’s message, children will be escorted to Sunday School.
