Call to Worship (Responsively, Psalm 33:20-22) - Jim McMillan
Leader: Our soul waits for the LORD;
People: He is our help and shield.
Leader: Our heart is glad in him,
People: Because we trust in his holy name.
Leader: Let your steadfast love, O LORD, be upon us.
ALL: Let us worship the LORD!
Hymn - “Alleluia! Sing to Jesus”
Alleluia sing to Jesus
His the sceptre His the throne
Alleluia His the triumph
His the victory alone
Hark the songs of peaceful Zion
Thunder like a mighty flood
Jesus out of ev'ry nation
Hath redeemed us by His blood
Alleluia not as orphans
Are we left in sorrow now
Alleluia He is near us
Faith believes nor questions how
Though the cloud from sight received Him
When the forty days were o'er
Shall our hearts forget His promise
I am with you evermore
Alleluia bread of angels
Here on earth our food our stay
Alleluia here the sinful
Flee to Thee from day to day
Intercessor friend of sinners
Earth's redeemer plead for me
Where the songs of all the sinless
Sweep across the crystal sea
Alleluia King eternal
Thee the Lord of lords we own
Alleluia born of Mary
Earth Thy footstool heav'n Thy throne
Thou within the veil hast entered
Robed in flesh our great High Priest
Thou on earth both priest and victim
In the Eucharistic Feast
Call to Confession - Kay McMillan
Leader: The Psalmist says, “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.” Let us confess our sin together seeking God’s forgiveness.
Prayer of Confession (Unison)
Eternal God, Your love for us is without end, yet our love for you and for one another is weak, often interrupted by self-centeredness. Whenever we come together to pray to you, we have to acknowledge that much of our life deserves your displeasure, that our life together is too often disfigured by our selfishness and self-love. Forgive us, we pray, and restore us to fellowship with you and with one another. Amen.
Assurance of Pardon (Responsively)
Leader: For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his steadfast love toward those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far he removes our transgressions from us. Know that you are forgiven by God.
People: Thanks be to God! Amen.
Choral Response - “Gloria Patri”
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost! As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.
Children’s Message - John Reith
Anthem - “Canticle of Praise” - Choir & Brassbyterians
Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer - Rev. Jeff Pearson
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our
debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
This morning we celebrate the successful kickoff to Wednesday Fellowship, which included over 100 participants who enjoyed fellowship, dinner and programs for children, youth and adults! Thank you to everyone who volunteers for meal prep or to teach classes for children, youth, and adults. We are very thankful to everyone committed to this ministry!

Message - Just Say: “No” - Dr. Doug Hucke
Hymn - “Be Thou My Vision”
Be Thou my vision
O Lord of my heart
Naught be all else to me
Save that Thou art
Thou my best thought
By day or by night
Waking or sleeping
Thy presence my light
Be Thou my wisdom
Be Thou my true Word
I ever with Thee
And Thou with me Lord
Thou my great Father
I Thy true son
Thou in me dwelling
And I with Thee one
Riches I heed not
Nor man's empty praise
Thou mine inheritance
Now and always
Thou and Thou only
Be first in my heart
High King of heaven
My treasure Thou art
High King of heaven
When vict'ry is won
May I reach heaven's joys
O bright heaven's Sun
Heart of my own heart
Still be my vision
O Ruler of all
Postlude - Brassbyterians
