Call to Confession  -   Bec Campbell

Leader: Friends, we are in the presence of the righteous and holy God. Let us humbly confess our neediness and ask for grace and mercy. Let us pray.

Prayer of Confession (Unison)

Merciful Savior, you are the bread of life, the one in whom we find forgiveness and grace. Yet we confess that too often we look elsewhere for that which will sustain us. We trust the security of intellect or jobs or relationships rather than the security of your unfailing love. We invest our time and energy in building our bank accounts and retirement portfolios rather than pursing the things of your kingdom. Forgive us, we pray. Lift our gaze beyond ourselves. Empower us to love boldly, forgive radically and believe with abandon. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon (Responsively)   -   Bec Campbell

Leader: Jesus says, “I am the bread of life. Whoever believes has eternal life.”

People:  In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Hallelujah! Amen.

Choral Response -  “Gloria Patri”

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost! As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end.  Amen. Amen.

Children’s Message  -  Krista Peterson

Hymn -  God of Our Fathers”

Prayers of the People and the Lord’s Prayer   -    Rev. Jeff Pearson

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
