Adult Christian Education and Formation offers classes and groups for adults to further their growth as followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that adults grow as disciples through learning, applying, and following the truth of Jesus Christ in the context of community. In our classes and groups, you will have opportunities for discussion, reflection, and the formation of mutually encouraging relationships.
Are you in your 20’s or 30’s, single, or married without children? Looking for meaningful friendships, often hard to come by in ABQ? Longing for some deeper spiritual connection, or encouragement on the journey of following Jesus? Connect with other young professionals who are pursuing Jesus in the company of friends:
- Monthly social events: some of our young professional leaders host a social event about once a month. NEXT ONE: Wed. May 1, 6:30pm - Dinner & Discussion at SPC with Matt and our youth director, Halecia Wimpy. Contact Matt for more info

To connect with either of these or if you're just looking for someone to listen in this stage of life, contact Pastor Matt Pooley.
Mom's Connection is a group for moms encouraging spiritual growth and Christ-focused parenting through Bible studies and fellowship. Every Wednesday Morning 9:15a-11:15a, child care provided.
A team of SPC dads coordinates events to get a whole new generation of fathers at SPC fully invested in the work and future of disciple-making: father/child events; in-home gatherings for dads to connect.

Senior Luncheons: On the third Wednesday of each month, Rev. Dewey Johnson hosts a Senior Luncheon in Fellowship Hall. Box lunches are available to order from Panera, you may bring your lunch, or even opt not to eat. Each luncheon features a different interesting speaker. The talks are on topics of particular interest to senior citizens: financial and legal issues, health and wellness, concerns about crime and scams, New Mexico and Albuquerque history, and more. Signups are in Fellowship Hall on the three Sundays prior to the event. Join us to meet other Sandians and enjoy a great presentation!
Contact Rev. Dewey Johnson for more info.
